Safety: Quick Answers
How do you keep children safe at Skill-ed?
The campus is gated, with a single supervised entry and CCTV in the classrooms, corridors and play area. Children go home only with adults on the approved pickup list. Staff are first-aid trained, and toys, surfaces and washrooms are sanitised every day.
The details are on the health and safety page.
Is the Skill-ed campus covered by CCTV?
Yes. CCTV covers the classrooms, the corridors and the play area. The campus is gated with a single supervised entry, and it is child-proofed inside, so children can move and play freely within safe limits.
Who is allowed to pick up my child?
Only the adults you put on the approved pickup list. Children go home with nobody else, and each pickup is verified before the child leaves the campus.
How do you handle emergencies or health concerns?
Trained first-aid staff are on site for every session, and the school has emergency response plans and clear policies for handling health-related issues, so that every child is looked after properly if something goes wrong.
